Ocean City spokeswoman Jessica Waters said it happened shortly after 3pm on the beach near 54th Street in the Maryland resort town. The 46-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center. And five to seven years ago, an umbrella impaled someone in Ocean City , Waters said.
